A day in the life of a Jew under Hitler's reign

on Friday, May 6, 2011

I can't imagine being a Jew during this period of time.  It seems unbelieveable.  While watching these clips and talking about the different forms of torture, I try to imagine what it would be like to be in their situation.  Today, we watched another clip from the movie, "The Schindler's List," and it was about the train ride to Auschwitz.  They were all packed in to the train cars without room to hardly breathe.  I can't imagine being taken away to the middle of nowhere, knowing that I was probably going to be put to death.  How did they mentally prepare themselves for that?
